Senior Human Resources Specialist
The Senior Specialist, Human Resources will play a key role in the execution of Global Talent Management, Employee Engagement Programs and Communication. The implementation of global initiatives at the regional level and the creation and execution of regional activities within the Gap Inc. frameworks are important to ensure consistency and transparency of our talent development & communication initiatives. As the subject matter expert on Talent Management HR systems and tools, the roll out of various HR initiatives, often with strong interdependencies, will be crucial to enabling the business to manage their talent consistently and effectively.

Focuses on details and how to effectively manage time and resources to ensure delivery of multiple priorities. Holds oneself responsible to required actions whilst driving execution of an Integrated Talent Management Strategy across the region
 
Actively engages with GSC HR colleagues under a matrix organization with diverse culture complexity and offers support broadly. Effectively communicates and works with peers, partners and others as necessary to build relationships that enable the successful delivery of GIS and HR goals

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Talent Management:
  • Keep track of Top Talent List/ bench of GIS / Hipo development plans
  • Keep track of GPS cycle process including progress against key milestones in system, report creation/generation and support Comms execution for:
    • Goal Setting
    • Monthly Touch Base
    • Performance Standards
    • Rewards Cycle
Organization Effectiveness:
  • Support key Change Management initiatives such as administration, tracking and reporting out of transformation surveys
  • Generate HR Dashboard
Communications & Brand
  • Draft org. announcements & HR Communications
  • Brand guidance & best practice
  • Adherance to Gap Inc. visual identity: repurposing presentations/templates
  • Comms needs analysis with BPs
Social Media
Monitoring & re-purposing of content for:
  • GSC, Gap Inc. & Brand External FB pages
  • Facebook@Work
  • Gap Inc. LinkedIn page & Twitter accounts
Events
Logistics and support for:
  • Town hall logistics & partial content collection
  • Product Development trips
  • Employee engagement events
Ad-hoc projects
Drive Culture of engagement:
  • Assist to rollout Employer Value Proposition Campaign
  • Support execution of Pulse Survey activities by monitoring progress against key milestones and providing status updates
  • Analyze and summarize Pulse Survey outputs so that they can be shared with HR and the business as relevant
  • Assist the implementation of key on-going engagement initiatives and monitor progress (eg. focus group coordination and feedback collation)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Project Management:
  • Managed Talent Management & Year End Compensation Cycle
  • Worked with different stakeholders with competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to deliver results
 
Communication:
  • Strong written & verbal communication (Native English speaker preferred)
  • Created complex reports, presentations and other documents that enabled the business access to relevant data and information required to make informed decisions
  • Worked in a MNCs Talent / Communication / Compensation & Benefits Analyst role or equivalent
  • Experience in a Communication / Talent role/project in a MNC undergoing transformation
 
HR Technology:
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
 
Desirable:
  • Experience using HR systems ideally PeopleSoft / Compass/ Taleo (or similar ATS)
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
