We are looking for an experienced HR Leader to help us execute our India DevOps people strategy, open and be a part of the leadership team for a brand new location.  This leader will manage the HR team in Hyderabad and collaborate with the HR teams based in Delhi and San Francisco. 
This role reports directly to the head of HR for technology based in San Francisco, with a matrixed reporting relationship with the site leader in Hyderabad 
 
In this role you will be responsible for building the people strategy for Hyderabad including building job families, compensation systems, benefits strategies, recruiting and employment branding, training and development and HR systems implementation. You will also support organizational design and workforce planning for GapTech India, and be a culture champion for the location.
 
Other responsibilities
  • Provide strategic partnership on organization design
  • Develop a talent branding strategy
  • Create a university relations and new college grad hiring plan
  • Partner on workforce planning strategies to grow the office
  • Work collaboratively across locations to leverage tools, resources and processes
  • Implement Gap Inc’s performance management and talent management processes
  • Set up, evolve and manage compensation and benefits structures
  • Build a recruiting engine for GapTech Hyderabad
  • Build employee engagement programs and measure success
  • Coach and advise leaders on effective employment and career conversations
  • Facilitate and resolve employee relations issues
Capabilities & Requirements 
  • 8+ years HR leadership experience 
  • Ability to work in a “start up” environment
  • Experience with working in a US based corporation
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Expertise in India employment practices, particularly in Hyderabad
  • Experience with recruiting strategies including university relations
  • Strong assessor of talent
  • Experience and comfort working in a matrixed organization
  • Strong leadership and management
