Senior Project Manager, Global Sourcing Strategy - Fashion & Apparel​
This position will lead and manage Global International Sourcing projects from end to end operations, in collaboration with respective categories, brands and functions. The scope of projects will include but not limited to areas like processes, new country development, product innovation, calendars pipeline management, quality/technical capability initiatives, raw materials/mills management and operations process alignment.

Principle responsibilities:
  • Provide project leadership to the projects assigned, from identifying project scope/objectives, developing project plans to leading execution. May lead a virtual team across countries and brands/categories as required.
  • Align project parameters, methodology and deliverables with key stakeholders
  • Develop project plans, process flow/role mapping and other relevant project management tools with specific milestones and ownership.
  • Set up work-streams as needed and manage throughout the process; including development and delivery of communications and education resources.
  • Act as advocate on the projects and coordinates between global brand/strategy teams and regional categories/functions
  • Identify and mitigate risks and propose solutions/alternatives
  • Develop business cases, presentations and reporting for senior leadership as appropriate
  • Supports the Project Director on other Sourcing Strategic projects as assigned
  • Organization relationships:
  • Frequent interactions with Leadership Team, Global Directors and stakeholders
 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of professional experience in the discipline of project management, supply chain management, strategy or management consulting. Apparel sourcing and operations experience in global companies
  • Exposure gained from top-tier management consulting firm is required
  • Hands-on experience in leading regional or global business projects independently
  • Excellent project management skills and knowledge of PM tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, assertive and organized
  • Strong Business Acumen; Analytical and attend to details
  • A good team player and able to build effective relationship with all levels
  • Highly motivated; demonstrates a "can-do" approach in being proactive with work assignments
