Finance Manager (FP&A)
The Finance Manager will serve as a key business partner to dedicated Category / Function leaders by providing relevant financial management and decision support. The Manager will drive the budget / forecast preparation, provide relevant financial analysis and provide sound recommendations to support the strategic business plans and drive business results.
  1. Planning, Analysis and Support
  • Drive the analysis and forecast process and facilitate monthly close. Understand business plan / growth strategies and work with teams to incorporate initiative impact into the budget and forecasts.
  • Serve as a key member to provide decision support analysis, modeling financial impacts of initiatives under consideration (e.g. vendor placement, HC & productivity analysis) and facilitate objective business decision.
  • Develop methodologies to improve forecast accuracy, identify cost drivers and trends to establish realistic P & L targets & measurements. Partner with regional & other finance teams in designing new tools to track and support new initiatives and controls.
  • Lead and support Regional & local functional initiatives to support strategic business plan
  • Analyze key performance indicator to measure business and operation performance.
  1. Controls & Process re-engineering
  • Identify and implement on going process improvement and cost efficiencies for the organization and target to deliver process simplification and driving efficiencies.
  • Manage discussion with vendors to land on solution and rectification plan for special payment request and claims
  • Implement and maintain all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and ensure areas operate with control environments consistent with GAAP and Gap Inc. policies
  • Implement appropriate control changes in line with the Supply Chain strategy initiatives
  1. Recruit, develop, motivate and retain staffs

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent
  • CPA or equivalent
  • A minimum of 7 years relevant professional work experience preferably in sizable MNC
  • Previous exposure in Manufacturing or Apparel Sourcing industry will be a plus
  • Proved track record in successfully drive down cost of good sold and deal with vendors will be preferred
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills and problem solving skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting using complex models
  • Financial systems (Oracle, Essbase)
  • High integrity and good communication & influencing skills
  • Good command in English
