GENERAL SUMMARY: 
This role will provide hands on support with regard to both the development and execution of responsive supply chain capabilities across the Gap Inc. Sourcing organization and vendor base while working closely with Brand and Category teams. This role will cover the implementation of RSC initiatives in GIS.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Define the mill capacity planning process
  • Layout comprehensive multi-year capacity growth plans while closely working with category leads and brand/mill partners
  • Support the implementation of comprehensive multi-year RSC capacity growth plans while closely working with category leads and brand / mill partners
  • Drive and lead the yearly platforming of fabric and yarns with the mills to ensure best prices are negotiated and locked.
  • Work with cross brand planning and production teams to allocate loading at mill level
  • Manage chase/fast/ regular capacity process
  • Work with vendors to manage the  risk of overload/ underload
  • Own vendor WIP process
  • Develop planning tools/ reports together with CoE
  • Publish planning reports
  • Execute the roadmap of Responsive Supply Chain for the Gap Inc. business
  • Influence and work with mills to reduce end to end supply chain lead time
  • Set up comprehensive capacity planning and loading review process for RSC capacity

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain management, Business Administration or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of apparel supply chain, sourcing and capacity planning experience in fashion retail apparel specifically in mills, apparel factories, production or related field
  • Should possess extremely good analytical skills to assess and collate large amount of information and present it is a manner that drives decision making.
  • Strong ability to zoom in and zoom out, successfully operating / managing both at the detail and the strategic and analytical level
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to lead by influencing key partners across all levels
  • Ability to work independently and identify potential operations risks
  • Experience in creating impactful presentations and the ability to present information to the Executive Leadership
  • Strong project management skills
  • Willing to travel
  • Exceptional Excel and power point skills
