GENERAL SUMMARY: 
The Testing Specialist supports the Softline PI Manager on Gap International Sourcing (GIS) product quality initiatives at mill & vendor level through empowerment; process monitoring; performance reporting and regular quality discussion.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the Softline PI Manager on :
  1. Investigating In-market quality performance issues.
  2. Offering trainings and delivering to vendors, mills, Category technical teams, MMs and VMs on new regulations, policies and procedures.
  3. Providing proactive technical support to Category technical teams, Commercial Labs and vendors’/mills’ accredited in-house labs
  4. Managing the performance of the approved commercial labs/in-house labs.
  5. Administration duties


REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • At least Higher Diploma or above, or at least two years quality related working experience
  • Knowledge of raw material and product testing for apparel and non-apparel.
  • Ability to create reports and provide analysis.
  • Communication skills– both written and verbal – in English and local language.
  • Proficient MS Office experience
